13th May 2016. Calne, Wiltshire, England.

We left Menehay Farm after a bit of faffing around and drove off to Calne to see our friend Debbie.

Debs had very kindly arranged for us to park the van in the local leisure centre car park where she teaches pilates.  It had taken a lot of hard work on her part to find somewhere close enough to her house where we could leave the van, we were very grateful to the manager for allowing us to leave it there.

She came and collected us and took us for a drink at a local pub, The Dumb Post Inn at Bremhill, she drove us up a narrow country lane until we suddenly arrived at the pub which was in a pretty setting surrounded by fields.

It was very busy inside but fortunately we found a table where we could sit with our drinks.

It was a great place to sit because we were right next to a chatty parrot in his cage, you don’t see many of those around.

We only had a quick drink then we went back to Debbie’s where she’d prepared a very tasty meal for us and we sat and chatted until it was time for bed.
