Hi, my blog is a record of our year(ish) long tour of Europe, an idea sprung on me by my husband last year. A word of warning to anyone reading this who doesn't know me, I have an inability to use one word when a hundred will do, in fact this blog is the antithesis of Twitter! It also includes EXTENSIVE use of the words beautiful, pretty, nice, gorgeous, tasty, lovely and wonderful amongst others! I'll attempt to use some different words occasionally to ring the changes.
San Juan de Duero
Beautiful golden stone, mediaeval town walls in Soria built by Sancho IV of Castile 13th century
Path beside the Rio Duero. Stunning scenery.
Excited to explore Camino del Rio Duero, Soria.
A perfect way to start a journey, scrumptious cake and coffee at Bar Terraza “El Fielato”
Sculpture in the courtyard at Bar Terraza “El Fielato”
We won’t be leaving here any time soon, but do I look bothered, nope!
Our road to freedom if only it wasn’t cut off with concrete blocks. San Juan de Duero, Soria.
I’m glad we stumbled across this, San Juan de Duero, Soria.
How wonderful to be able to see something that was built so long ago, I wonder if any present day architecture will do the same!
