Hi, my blog is a record of our year(ish) long tour of Europe, an idea sprung on me by my husband last year. A word of warning to anyone reading this who doesn't know me, I have an inability to use one word when a hundred will do, in fact this blog is the antithesis of Twitter! It also includes EXTENSIVE use of the words beautiful, pretty, nice, gorgeous, tasty, lovely and wonderful amongst others! I'll attempt to use some different words occasionally to ring the changes.
Gothenberg
Posing in front of the metal sculpture.
That’s an eye catching building.
It’s great the way this frames the buildings in the background.
Kronhuset, built in the Dutch style in the 17th century.
Yum, looking forward to eating my meal.
Filthy walking shoes.
Obviously I had to stop and photograph that.
Beautiful floral display on and around the bridge.
Darren’s looks good too.
Poseidon.
Water feature in the centre of the road up to the statue of Poseidon.
The buildings here were beautiful…..
and so clean.
Buildings connected with walkways. I bet the view is amazing from up there.
Those ‘Eye’s’ are everywhere, I’ve seen one in London, Brighton and Paris, and now here
Dinosaur, unexpected discovery!
Liseberg amusement park.
I can (just about) see you!
The lads giving Darren directions to a guitar shop.
Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. These figures were high up in the air.
