Hi, my blog is a record of our year(ish) long tour of Europe, an idea sprung on me by my husband last year. A word of warning to anyone reading this who doesn't know me, I have an inability to use one word when a hundred will do, in fact this blog is the antithesis of Twitter! It also includes EXTENSIVE use of the words beautiful, pretty, nice, gorgeous, tasty, lovely and wonderful amongst others! I'll attempt to use some different words occasionally to ring the changes.
Journey to Vera
Hooray! We’re here.
Entering the site.
View from our van.
View from our pitch.
View from the top overlooking the valley.
Mind the gap!
Part of the campsite.
Looking a bit wet out there!
I love the architecture in Spain.
We weren’t expecting to see a boat on a roundabout, it must have rained more than we realised!
Darren taking a sneaky photo of me taking a photo!
Ah, the huge waves were behind me.
Where have the huge waves gone?
A group of surfers were bobbing around in the sea.
I’m very impressed by anyone who can balance on a surfboard, I’ve tried and kept taking a dive!
The blocks forming the harbour are intriguing, they look like a piece of modern art.
Lovely colourful van.
It was surprising to see these buildings, they were in the middle of nowhere.
This Rambla is normally a football pitch.
We were relieved when we finally arrived in Vera.
Trying to find the site.
This is the road that our SAT NAV wanted us to turn on to whilst we were on that bridge!
Is this REALLY the way?
Wow! What an amazing place to live.
There are a worrying amount of puddles on this lane.
