4th January 2017. Roquetas de Mar, Spain.

Darren was still feeling under the weather so we had a slow, lazy start to the day frittering it away people watching from the van during the morning.  We were intrigued to watch a boat chugging along pulling a smaller one behind it, from where we were looking it seemed like the back of the second boat was disappearing under the water, I wonder whether that was the reason he was towing it or whether that had happened during the towing process!

In the afternoon I packed a picnic and we wandered over to the beach where Darren dozed on the beach while I watched a group of cute little birds running in and out of the surf then I joined them and had a paddle too.

It was a lovely way to spend the day.
